Hoffman Dies, War on Drugs Revives.

The solution is obvious: legalize drugs, all drugs. It’s none of your business, anyway, what other people ingest, but at least by legalizing drugs you can take the real crime out of so-called crime.
Hoffman made a choice to use drugs with full knowledge it could kill him. He was an actor with lots of self centered wealthy acquaintances who love to tell others how to live and to support laws restricting average people while using their wealth to rig the game for themselves. Humphrey Bogart was an actor who died from his addiction. Bogart's acting will be remembered for centuries; Hoffman will be remembered for a year in parlor games only for the way he died and the stupid way that government reacted. Forget the weak willed mediocre actor and give people the freedom that the constitution promises.
