The reach of government control (local, state or federal) into any area imaginable, always amazes me.

When you go into a restaurant or bar, you have no idea what hoops the proprietors may have to jump through. In my naivete, I assumed if a product is offered it was simply ordered, added to stock and placed on the menu.

This little article actually raises a number of questions for me..the first one being why does a certain quantity of product have to be moved?

    The purpose of this type of restriction on business is to make it hard for small operators to survive or even enter. As well, it reduces competition for the big players.
