So he thinks that a mere theory should cause physicists to spend their time proving him wrong, instead of spending their time and money on what they have the tech and evidence to investigate. If he thinks it'll work, he needs to demonstrate it.
In the words of Bugs Bunny, "What a maroon!" The last time someone reported ridiculous hydrogen uptakes, it was proven that the uptakes were of ... water.
Some metals can absorb hydrogen. When I worked in industry, that was part of my job, but this idiocy gives people like me a bad reputation.
The point is interest and consideration for this is moving a bit off the fringe. He's more than a bit arrogant in his statements but what if he's right? Oil's being dumped to the tune of 2 million barrels a day over demand and the falling prices are the result. Are the oil producers taking this as a serious threat?
I'm just saying its worth a look and if they are right the world changes. So heap on the skepticism I can take it. I used to argue against man made global warming on liberal sites.
The author is wrong, period. I suggest he and anyone else interested in this subject of hydrogen storage familiarize themselves with Gary Sandrock's comprehensive compilation on the subject and/or contact me personally. The third biggest science fraud in history behind global warming and cold fusion was in hydrogen storage with carbon nanotubes. Feel free to PM me on this subject. I have many more articles that I can quickly send you on this subject.
