Fight Song [the Liberty Fight Song?]
I was going to sing the first verse of this to you yesterday, but Scott heard the words and vetoed. So I'll present it to you here in full. I picked one with the lyrics present because I always want to know them exactly right.
If you don't know Heather Alexander and Alexander James Adams, you certainly should

I do think that the second title you show is the better of the two.
When it comes to fighting for your country, your home and your family, the song captures the needed spirit exactly right.
It captures General Patton's comment well -- "Don't die for your country, make the other bastard die for his."
This song shows up in a couple of military scifi books I've read - the authors are John Ringo and S. M. Stirling.
I find the song overwhelming sometimes - and sometimes, it's just what I need to get through the day. Try listening to the other versions of it you can find on You tube - there's even a bootleg recording of Heather singing it at a Renaissance fair. The one version I live the VERY best has the drum at the end segue into a funeral-march pattern. WOOH!
glad you liked it.
Sorry for the confusion!
