Here's one to watch...
A friend (who is an insulin-dependent diabetic) and I were talking about this this morning... and it hit me - this could be a company to watch, and maybe invest in... especially if they can fix the other problem with Insulin, it being an extremely fragile medication. If someone could find a way to make it survive time and temperature, they will have a market that could be record-breaking astronomical.
remember, you heard it here first, and my finder fee is fair... for what you get!

- 1Posted by mminnick 10 years, 10 months agoI hope they are successful. I tak insulin 4 times a day. It is a real pain. something like this is a real gift and not to be taken lightly. Most diabetics I know have wanted something like this. Short of a cure this is wonderful.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by $ Susanne 10 years, 10 months agoI have a few very close friends - one the guy I was speaking about, another who is the wife of our former churches pastor, who are extremely insulin dependent, and as a survivalist and prepper, I do worry about them (and those like them) if something nasty happens. Until someone comes up with a cure (someday I am sure someone will), both an oral insulin that can survive the enzymes and one that can withstand long term storage (freeze-dried, maybe?) will give people like you (and my friends) a chance to survive a TEOTWAWKI type event.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|
