Liberals hate children. Children represent life and hope. They hate that. That's why they work in public schools - so they can destroy kids.

I learned this the hard way in dealing with our local school district in trying to get them to accept my disabled son. They hate him and they hate me for being a father who cares. They went after an advocate I was working with and had a family law judge take her three kids way, forever. These are evil people. Nice to see that they made national news for their hate.

What good did it do to trash the lunches? The expense for them was already paid for by the taxpayers...

Normally I might applaud getting fed up with moochers, but this seems more about control and discipline. I think they had some sort of deal like that when my kids were in school but the teacher was in charge and the student would. 't go through the line in the first place. Students and teachers usually shared in that case. The parent pays up quickly after one or two days of that. But making a big scene? seriously -someone's got their control hat on.

Unbelievable. Should get lunch at school if their parents have not paid? No. Should they be humiliated in public for a financial mistake made by their parents? Hell no. This was a crappy decision, and should have repercussions.

They do that if you bring a sack lunch with non approved items too. That 's probably why some people didn 't pay. I 'm with some of the comments - Dickens anyone?

I can imagine any teacher, administrator or civil servant trying to take away the lunch my mother packed for me. I can just imagine how short their life expectancy would become once my father heard of it...

What would your mom pack? Both my parents were teachers and my mom firmly belived in hot lunch. Those were the days when the good cooks in the neighborhood worked in the cafeteria. I packed a sack lunch for my dad who did not want to be in the cafeteria with the kids. I thought you should like to be around kids if you 're a teacher. Years later he told me it was the loudness and it exacerbated his tinitus which he came back from Korea with. Corned beef (the pressed kind) lots of mustard, a handful of chips, twinkie. Every day same thing. Kinda boring

A variety of things; most often one or two bologna or ham sandwiches, and an orange or apple (which I might or might not eat), a candy bar or some cookies, and I'd pick up a can of sarsparilla on the way to school.
Maybe some cheese and crackers or pudding or some such for variety. Occasionally peanut butter and jelly sandwich, again for variety. And almost always with a note.

Once in awhile she'd have me buy the school lunch if it was something she knew I would tolerate, so I'd get a hot meal in the winter.

It's fine. People reposting news stories I've already posted has actually happened to me a few times. ;)

And yeah, I agree. Totally the wrong thing to do in this circumstance. The school didn't even save any money because the food all got thrown in the trash anyway. Really bad judgement call.
