Time Slimes Ayn Rand as a Fan of Charleston Church Shooter Dylann Roof

I usually can see some thought pattern when someone says something stupid like this but I'm at a loss. I received Ideal the other day and hope to read it soon. Doubt it will make a difference.
I can just hear the hushed voices: "Oh, the pesky Ayn Rand! Why doesn't she stay dead? We must find ways to marginalize her!".
An adjunct at Bennington now, she would have been a child when Rand passed: ERGO her writing is based on flawed research and is obviously erroneously conceived.

Considering the publications that she wrote for and the fact that she was introduced to passages from Atlas Shrugged by Suze Orman, I'm not overly impresses.
! Just a few references... :)
It was a somewhat pleasant surprise to me, as it was unexpected, given what we've been discussing here. I'm not sure that she has any depth of understanding of the subject, but at least she seemed open and sympathetic.
Personally, I believe that Obama really believes that there should be Limits On Wealth, though his acolytes will deny that to their last breath. The subtext is rarely sub.
And Lordy, did Anne need a better hair style! :)
Someone at Time needs to realize it's Time MAGAZINE, not Time Machine...

That's quite a leap that Ms Heller is making. A character from Rand's writings has some thoughts that are similar to the ramblings of some current loons, so therefor Ayn Rand was a fan of sociopaths. And since Ms Heller is Rand's self-proclaimed biographer, it must be so.
I for one am amazed!
Would you, please, point me to the character and the thoughts you mentioned?
Thank you kindly.

I think the MRC intentionally overstated Time's responsibility for actively "sliming" Ayn Rand. They all wish to sell, of course. Time more copy and Heller more of her book on AR. What's new?
I ordered a copy of Ideal and will try to review here the Heller's review of that book.

There is no escape from these evil scum - even in death
Seems to me the NewYork times is really trying to push their liberal bent on things, and trying to remain relevant in this world. They are failing miserably, or is that failing brilliantly...
Published or unpublished works, Ayn Rand is fiction even though Atlas Shrugged seems to becoming fiction to fact.
Sadly, many will believe Ms. Heller's nonsense, for, as Orwell said, “The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it.”
