        And, yes, it was well done. It looked like a first book, or at least an early book, in an author's career. The first part of the book had a certain stilted sense to the characters, but I liked the people and I became engaged with them. I wanted them to do well and to make things better.

        I want to read more of the series.

          the new novel, just released on 16may16 is called
          WHA-CKED! . it weaves together plots from the
          White House to the capitols of Germany and Russia
          plus intrigue from all over the world. . it will grab you
          and refuse to let you go -- suspense, mystery, love
          and devotion, skullduggery and crafty nastiness.

                There is or was a place like that in New York City. Mainly for the tourists who then said. Big deal it's just like the rest of the town. Another place gave you x number of minutes to finish up and get out for the next customer. To their credit you could have your meal in front of you and by cutting out conversation be done and gone before the tirade started. Or just get a to go meal. Myrtle Beach? Yuck. Trying to drive a boat through there on the ICW was insult enough. enough.

                  we're renting a condo "owned for the week" by a friend, and it's a
                  quiet little place just off the fairway of a golf course. . kinda nice.

    Just got notified by the author that he has a new one coming out which I ordered yesterday, called "Deadly Conspiracy"
    It is available on Amazon of all things, imagine that
    Can’t wait to read this latest installment from an author who I admire and happens to be a good friend...

    Am gladdened beyond belief to see his novels being promoted here...I have all of them...the author is a good friend of mine and a former work colleague...I want to forward to him the fact that his novels were promoted here....not sure how to tell him in an email so I will just call him...

      I called Jed O'Dea (not his real name) and advised of his books getting promoted on Galt's Gulch and he was gratified and said that he was familiar with this site from a couple years back.
