I look out the window. It's the most reliable and has no agenda.

  There is a small book by Alan Watts on weather predicting used by a lot of boating folks. Flip thorough the pages until you find a picture that matches the weather facing upwind. The other page gives the forecast.

  METARS.gov is under the umbrella of NOAA. NOAA, under Obama, is fully on board with following the narrative of man made global climate change as well. Every weather source I have found so far is using either http://weather.com or NOAA as their underlying data sources. I'd also love to find a source the is not on board with this agenda.

    METARS is specifically about aviation weather, and as such, doesn't have the, "Watch the TV special about global warming" banner advertising, as well as the stupid videos that regularly infest http://weather.com. Wunderground didn't have any of that stuff, but someone pointed out that the Weather Channel now owns Wunderground, so it's only a matter of time.

      My issue is more to do with the fact that I don't want to support the underlying systems by using any services utilizing their data. Even if I don't see adds on the site, I know that by using their system - I give source operations credibility and the ability to continue their mission.

      One thing I do like about Wunderground is that it has a network of independent, privately-owned weather stations. I do wonder, though, if most, if not all, of the weather websites fudge their official reported temperature data to conform with the official propaganda.

I use the national weather service most. No ads, and the pages load pretty quick. I have my local 7-day forecast, a local radar, and a regional radar bookmarked for easy access.

I spent a year driving trucks, and for that purpose I found the 162 MHz band *much* more useful than any TV channel, including cable. It's both more up-to-the-minute and covers more local areas.

The "car radio" in a Freightliner gets weather band, and if you really want it in your car you can buy one of these at many truck stops.

I am most impressed by Intellicast.com.

What usually irritates me is that most TV based weather reports fixate on the east coast. Wait and wait and then they blow by the Intermountain West all the way to the other coast.

I just use NOAA. This is where all the data is gathered anyway. The graphs are very useful. You pay for it already, and there are no ads, or dangerous software (e.g. WeatherBug).

Never noticed any Global Warming stuff, but I'd probably look right over it anyway.

I use http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/. It's plain simple. I get access to radar throughout the US. It's pretty accurate. Only problem is it updates about 3 hours behind current time. No external adds.

I use my local TV app which has good radar I can predict as well as they can also use national weather service website to get jet stream patterns for my own long range forecast.

On my Dish Network, one channel up from the Weather Channel is WeatherNation, they don't seem to have an agenda.

On smart phone, try "Dark Sky"a great app with a great user interface. Lots of information elegantly packaged. The other one we use is "My Radar". Both recommended by our airline pilot daughter.

I only care about the temperature and if it will rain.
Of course, there's always hurricane season, but if one shows its ugly vortex, every broadcast channel will go on and on and on about it giving me more information than I really want to know.

I keep weatherspark.com open in my browser. You can customize the 'Dahsboard' to display what you want. And I have found it to be as accurate as can be expected.

I use Intellicast.com on the computer as their radar is better and you can pan and zoom in on it. On my iPhone, I use Yahoo Weather, it loads fast and is fairly accurate.

I check the internet website wunderground.com
My only lingering question about the Weather Underground website is whether they have any connection to the 1960's Bill Ayers terrorist group. I haven't found evidence of that linkage, but they share the same name...

I use it, like it, and never see any such agenda.
But I went to there news items; the latest thing there is a report by a former EPA chairman that only says that it is undeniable that climate is changing. Duh? If that's the worst they can get, I am not concerned!
