Great article! I was lucky enough to grow up in a place and time in which vigilantism was often visited on the 'drunkard family beater' and at least once, on a truly sick-minded child raper.

Much as the author, I've found much of my adult character influenced by the characters in my favorite reading.

PS. To khalling, just received Pendulum. Looking forward to a good read.

Thanks for the link. I knew there had to be a reason I always gravitate toward those types of books. I had all the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys books growing up.

I haven't had a chance to read all of the Gulch authors works yet, but I sure enjoy the ones I have read, and the rest are in the line.

me too! I hope if there are some authors I missed, they'll post a link to their work here. I love to read books and it's nice to know there are authors out there who understand the importance of romantic heroes.

Wow. Now I know what it would feel like to be a truck driver working at the new Wyatt oil. I am surrounded by awesomeness, and I love it!

A great article and I'll download Hunter. Khahling, I finished POJ last night. I really enjoyed it and will have more to say about it next week when I return from vacation. And thanks for mentioning The Golden Pinnacle, which as you have recognized fits the vigilante theme of the article in the context of historical fiction. Happy New Year to everyone in the Gulch!
