Democrats, War, and Death

I've seen several posts here and elsewhere concerning the responsibility for enmeshing America in war especially in the 20th Century. So herewith are some facts:

Woodrow Wilson (D) was elected President in 1912 and re-elected in 1916. He took America into World War 1.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (D) was elected President in 1932, 1936, 1940, and 1944. He took us into World War 11 in 1941.

He died during his 4th term and VP Harry S Truman (D) finished that term and was re-elected President in 1948. He took us into Korea in 1950.

John F Kennedy (D) was elected President in 1960. He maintained a low level support for the government of South Vietnam. He was assassinated in 1963 and VP Lyndon B Johnson (D) finished his term and was re-elected in 1964. He escalated Vietnam into a major land war.

These five Democrat Presidents accounted for 90% to 95% of all American KIA, MIA, and WIA in the 20th Century. That makes them the party of war. Beware a Democratic President in his 2nd term.

Aren't you familiar with the term 'love bombs'? You clearly don't support the spreading of love and democrassy to the world. Hater. (sarcasm) :-)

Raises an interesting question on "conflicts" the US has been involved in. I'd have to research a bit more, but, haven't most of the Middle East conflicts escalated under a Democrat Pres.?

Please let us know. The current occupant of the White House has certainly screwed up in that region of the world and gotten lots of good men killed in the liberal attempt to "win hearts and minds".

Having been involved in the last liberal war and having first hand seen the results of trying to "win hearts and minds", I can assure you, it's the wrong approach.

If we are not going to fight a total war, we need to stay out. We are not the worlds police force.

The US Army is trained to do one thing, kill the enemy until the enemy decides they don't want to be the enemy any more. At that point we need to come home and let them clean up the mess they caused. The Monroe Doctrine did not help US a bit. Most of Europe hates us as much as al-Qaida does.

After a bit of browsing I'd have to change the context of my question. What I'm finding is the tendency of Republican administrations to use or threaten larger scale force in the Middle Eastern theater.....lending the appearance to rise and fall of conflict. I used the timeline of the following link to set a baseline of activity from Truman through present. http://academic.evergreen.edu/g/grossmaz...
The next link gives a clearer association of administration with action. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info...
These are only two sources of nearly a dozen I've perused. Next: I have a neighbor who has been studying this on a "Doctoral" level...time to take her to dinner.
One thing is abundantly clear: Every administration since WW11 has played a manipulative role in the region despite it's "level" of warfare. These administrations are only puppets....wielding temporary "power".

Thanks. I'll have do some digging myself. My first reaction to these links was negative, as in, hate America first. However, before I open my mouth to change feet...
