I am disgusted!
FDR stole the value of people's gold with his recall and then revaluation of gold. Using the newly gained surplus he started Social Security and other make-work welfare programs.
Johnson started the Great Society. One (hopefully) unintended consequence of which is that it destroyed the concept of family to a great many US citizens.
Nixon enabled the Great Society by taking the US off the gold standard.
G W Bush gave us the Patriot Act.
And now Obama is taking advantage of these anti-freedom acts in the biggest way possible. In my opinion the TSA and Border Patrol are parts of his private gestapo – they disrespect any and all US citizens, even those in the military. Now he is being pressured to nationalize the police forces all across the US. Won't that be a hoot!
During my life time (since 1943) the US has been at war or involved at some level militarily constantly. Why are we always at war? Could it be that war making equipment lobbyists own the great majority of the DemReps? Rather then continue to use old combat equipment it gets donated to local law enforcement agencies, and new equipment gets sold to the military.
All the DemReps in government expect to be called 'The Honorable' even though they have done nothing honorable.

Here in California we have lawmakers openly talking about using the police to break up families. I've lost sleep over it, really. How did we sink this low?
