Another resounding defeat of The Left...

The title is intentional, to forestall the cynics who think I'm might be an ardent Cameron or Tory supporter, not to mention the "they're all the same" crowd. I don't know enough about them to dislike them as much as I do most in our supposedly "conservative" party here in the US, although what little I've read says they're hardly ardent free-market supporters.
But it's enough for me that it's further proof that The Left is dying, leaving more room for new ideas. It was also heartening to see that the economy was the major issue (as opposed to "Global Warming" or crap like that), and that voters, in particular in the UK, no longer see the Left as their economic saviors.
