They will ignore it and my guess is the media will ignore it as well. Nothing to see here. Except maybe a very credible cabinet member making shocking allegations about Obama.

  I believe you are right about the media ignoring it. It would be nice if Gates would push the issue further, but he does not seem the type to push on something like this hard. He made his statement and he will likely leave it to others if they wish to validate and report on it.
