Yes. The fights I've seen to prevent dam construction out here have been amazing. The Dems will even go back to DC and claim that a dam upstream from a couple other dams (that don't have fish ladders) will block the endangered salmon. (Auburn Dam, which would have GREATLY reduced this current drought)
