This is the modern day 21st Century mid-western "Dust Bowl" caused by ignorance and abject stupidity.

    Yes. The fights I've seen to prevent dam construction out here have been amazing. The Dems will even go back to DC and claim that a dam upstream from a couple other dams (that don't have fish ladders) will block the endangered salmon. (Auburn Dam, which would have GREATLY reduced this current drought)

    This is absolutely "man-made" (unlike AGW)...

    And wasn't there an award winning movie about "water politics in California" way back in 1974?

    "the plot of a murder involving incest and the privatization of water through state and municipal corruption, land use and real estate."...(Rotten Tomatoes)...

    As the saying on movies goes "Ripped from the headlines..."...50 years ahead of its time...
