This is a video from ARI about a group of books by scientists, mainly biologists arguing about the dangers of religion. At least one of the books discussed identifies that it is faith that is the problem, which is why facism and communism (and environmentalism) are lumped in. Having rejected god they turn to the problems of ethics and attempt to justify altruism, the ethics of religion, with science. The discussion also touches on why Popper has caused so many problems in science.
