Questions I would ask President Barack Obama

I have no training in journalism and I have been critical of the press for not asking the President tougher questions. These are some of the things I would ask if I were given an opportunity to interview the President. Let me know what you think and please add your own.

1- Mr. President you have repeatedly stated that you inherited a terrible economy. Other Presidents have inherited similar economies---Warren Harding(1920), Franklin Roosevelt(1932) and Ronald Reagan(1980). I am wondering why you chose to govern like the one who failed?

2- Can you give us an example of one free market reform you initiated since becoming President?

3- If 9 trillion dollars in debt was "Un-American" when you were Senator then how do you justify personally increasing the debt by more than 9 trillion dollars?

4- Who is your favorite Founding Father and why?

5- You have expressed recently that Christians have done some terrible things throughout history in the name of Christ. The current problem we have is radical Islam. Can you explain which Muslim groups are a threat to the US and which ones are not a threat?

6- The IRS has clearly been targeting individuals and groups that don't follow a certain ideology. How do we stop and then prevent the IRS from being used as a political weapon?

7- If Iran develops a nuclear weapon do you think they would use it without provocation?

Obama is a skilled politician and evader. Here is how he would answer the questions:
    1. Actually I am borrowing heavily from Roosevelt and Reagan who both realized it would be necessary to deficit spend to prime the pump for recovery. Fortunately, it has worked. We have added blah blah blah jobs, the stock market is up, blah blah blah. We need to do more, blah blah blah.
    2. While it is not perfect, Dodd Frank has helped reform the markets. We need to do more, blah blah blah. The Federal Reserve has also helped control the markets. Elizabeth Warren is great. Unrestrained markets are dangerous. See the depression and the great recession, both caused by out of control markets. We need more control. Republicans are obstructionists.
    3. Because of the Bush recession. Bush made all this spending necessary. The Republicans have caused the deficits by refusing to consider raising more revenue. What's wrong with them anyway?
    4. I love them all, but admire Hamilton in particular for his understanding of the responsibilities of the federal government when it comes to the national economy. Washington was cool too.
    5. Mainstream Islam is a religion of peace. The terrorist groups are only pretending to be muslim. They are hijacking a peaceful religion. Shame on them.
    6. We should be ever vigilant in ensuring that no political groups or the left or right are targeted Nixon-like for unfair treatment. At the same time, we must ensure that everyone pays their fair share of taxes and that means groups who claim to be tax exempt because they have an educational not political purpose actually adhere to the regulations. We need new regulations that make this distinction clearer. And some people (not me) need to be fired.
    7. They might, which is why the ongoing negotiations are so important and why Republican posturing designed to scuttle those talks are so dangerous.

See how easy this is? By the way, don't shoot the messenger. These are Obama's answers, not mine.

I would not waste my breath asking him questions!
In case you have not been paying attention for the past 6+ years, there is a very real chance his answers will be nothing but lies or to put it in the liberal medias terms "Misstatements".

You are definitely right about his dishonesty. I still would like to see him asked these questions. Not asking gives him too much of a pass. The press really looks weak right now.

I have to admit, I really don't like the man. I don't like his politics, I don't like his theories, his ideas, his actions, and especially his demeanor and flagrant arrogance. I simply don't like anything about the man, period. And I don't think there is anything he's ever done that I can even agree with. He's done some things that might sound good, but underneath they have caused more harm than good, PERIOD. Just look at those eyes when he's angry.

Since he can only lie, it would be pointless. I might ask if I could ask Valerie Jarrett her plans, since she holds the strings, and says she will never leave the White House. Of her I would ask why Warren Buffet's railroad is getting special breaks to haul the oil that might be more safely transported via a pipeline. I might ask their timeline for full implementation of UN Agenda 21. I would definitely ask, beside the CFR and Soros, to whom does she answer, and does that list include international bankers.

Those are great questions. I should have thought of Agenda 21. It is frightening.

I like agenda 76. It uses a time machine to bring forward Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson, unfortunately Hamilton was killed in the process (grin) to clarify the meaning of the Constitution and to become advisors after the resulting revolution. (Franklin begged to return to the past after seeing a photo of hillary, but he decided to stay to examine data on chemtrails.)

The problem with this guy is that he will drone on 20 minutes giving you a non-answer (re-cycled talking points, non-sequiturs, etc) to any given question, so you might just get in 2-3 questions and get no real answers. I've seen him do that time after time.

they have already invented provocation. Submit or die. Of course Obeyme could always declare the USA an Islamic nation by royal decree. Doesn't solve the issue of shiite versus sunni though.

    1. Who is your favorite philosopher and why?

    2. If Vladimir Putin announced tomorrow that Russia no longer recognized the existence of Ukraine as an independent country and then annexed it, what would you do?

    3. You state that ISIS has "hijacked" the Muslim religion. What is the difference between what ISIS practices and Islam?
