The "best and brightest" that brought us Obamacare seem to be saying the old saw that "knowledge is power" has been wrong all these years.
The reality is, our lack of knowledge gives them power over us, and they have no intention of surrendering it.
It's your body and your health... take care of yourself and tell the government to stay the hell out of your business.

- 1Posted by Ben_C 9 years, 7 months agoBeing proactive about your health care is essential - especially today. Getting blood tests is one thing - interpretation is another. Sadly, most physicians fail to "listen" to the patient. The physical exam is a lost skill. Finding an intuitive competent internal medicine physician is a challenge. For me, I am armed and dangerous given my career choice and I advocate for my family. I am not an MD and I figured about what was wrong with my wife and guided the physician to the diagnosis with a little help from Dr. Google. Remember, physicians need to be correct 3 out of 4 times to graduate from med school.| Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink
