Hmmm..I hope Cummings is correct. I think I would support a Ted Cruz run. I will be watching.

that would be VERY interesting for many reasons.

do you think there will be a definitive Supreme Court ruling or an amendment to clarify the Constitution on the matter of a "natural born" citizen? because if he does indeed run, I think we all know his being born in Canada will be used to at least attempt to disqualify his eligibility.

  Yeah, but McCain faced the same challenge when he ran. A quick trip to court settled it for him. I don’t think the Supreme Court will get around to ruling anytime soon. Cruz should be safe to run. He should run. He is likable. He is intelligent. He can carry the independents which make up the majority of the voting public.

    I was pleased when he won his seat. if he runs, I'll be watching closely. it should be an exciting time coming up - - if nothing more than because BO is leaving!
