"It’s more than we’re importing both from Central America and Mexico combined. This is a big shift in immigration flows,” said Sperry,

This "expert" is completely lacking in knowledge on immigration if he thinks this is true. He probably believes that fedgove stats on unemployment are rational and consistent, too.

I suspect all of the numbers, yet the problem of
      unfiltered immigration remains! -- j

I completely agree. It remains because the executive branch has chosen not to enforce the existing laws, and they have been doing this for 30+ years. Problems can only be solved if effort is made to do so. They are making no effort; in fact they are encouraging unfiltered unrestrained immigration and then giving amnesty after the fact. The politicians and bureaucrats who have done this should be prosecuted for not enforcing federal law. There should be an obstruction of justice penalty for agencies who do not enforce federal law created by congress.

the president and the AG who refuse to enforce
the law on the books. . like expulsion from office. -- j

Its like its just a game to the pols. They impose penalties and fines ad infinitum on private companies and individuals who don't comply with ridiculous laws, but rarely impose any penalty on government actors. That would set a poor precedent, since the lawmakers rarely do what they promise either.
