Islamism- appeasers and the chance of an Islamic reformation
Many members of the Gulch are Objectivists, some libertarians, some conservatives, a few are Christians, many a combination of those.
For all the above I propose-
Ayaan Hirsi Ali as a heroine for our times.
- She is optimistic about the chances for a reformation in Islam.
She also calls upon the Western world to end its appeasement of radical Islamists—and to drop the bogus argument that those who stand up to them are guilty of "Islamophobia." It is the Muslim reformers who need our backing, she argues, not the opponents of free speech. -
Iran meanwhile continues to support and partake in violence and terrorism around the globe. The aforementioned appeasers are unconcerned about Iran having nuclear weapons.
