Transcendent music

I found Herb Ernst almost 10-12 years ago by accident (on a cassette, no less) in a trash pile. It was his "Dreamflight" album. I had found really nothing to compare to his music for sheer ethereal enjoyment. I found this by accident tonight and have been entranced with it. I'd like to share it with you. It's from his "Angels and Ecstasy" album. Please enjoy.

Ambient space music is one of my favorite genres... thanks for posting. "I found Herb Ernst almost 10-12 years ago by accident (on a cassette, no less) in a trash pile." This sentence reminds me of the scene from AS where Hank and Dagny find The Motor on a junk pile. Cheers!

I wonder why it is some music appeals to us and some doesn't...why consonance is preferred over dissonance in conclusion?

Could it be we are designed that way, or were all the dissonance lovers killed by the consonance lovers? (evolutionary rules applying)
