Buttercup's Jewel Box
We have moved our store just a short stroll down the Information Superhighway, to Facebook and ETSY.
It is still governed by the quote from William Morris:
"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful".
Using the pre-set "store-front" of ETSY allows us [and merchants from all over the world] to display and sell goods. If you've been there, you know what I mean; if you haven't, prepare for an interesting experience. On the other hand, it is easy and very inexpensive to display merchandise on Facebook.
So, most of our inventory is displayed on Facebook, at Queen Buttercups Jewel Box. It's easy [usually] and inexpensive to display there, and then move transactions to ETSY.
the URL for the store is http://buttercupsjewelbox.etsy.com
the Facebook location is
http://facebook.com/QueenButtercupsJe...
See you there!

I do love that movie too. Mandy Patinkin is magnificent!
But, as long as this is a metaphorical castle, let's have stables and arenas and lists, for those who like such things.
Just PM me, and we can go over particulars.
Beautiful and clever, Winterwind!
thanks for your patience.
Almost all the maille I've ever sold has been custom orders - there are so many different weaves, and metals, that people can have just exactly what they want.
Do you have any ideas about what you'd like? For instance, the bracelet I posted is a very 3-dimensional weave - do you want something with dimension, or a flat weave? Would you like something in a base metal, like copper, bronze, steel or nickel [or a combination] or a colored piece, or a fine metal piece? There are some weaves that are complicated and some that you can easily see how they're done - 4-in-1 is the traditional armor weave and I do it a lot. If it's done with a large ring, and maybe a wide piece, it's a show-stopper.
If you'd like to get ideas, or start looking before I have much up, go to theringlord.org. They are my [and 3/4 of the mailing world's] supplier. Take a look at the inspiration gallery.
I look forward to working with you on a piece, or two, or eight....
thx! ww
My husband the Wizard [who designed and made it] is pleased that you like that heart. It was a gift to me, and part of the gift is that it would always be unique.
All is not lost, however. He is more than willing to do one very like it for you. I have large [2"] hearts in Lapis [veined with gold, it would be lovely with gold wire] and snowflake obsidian. I have some smaller hearts in several different stones, and some really nice rich rose glass ones.
If you are open to other shapes, I have a LOT of them, in a LOT of different stones. Let me know your preferences and I'll post measured photos.
If you are interested in wirework, some of the chain maille pendants that I'll be putting up might suit you - you can have them made in any metal, just about.
Let me know what you'd like.
regards,
ww
Just because you asked, I posted 2 photos [which appear at the end of the series of photos] of a copper bracelet and an Anodized Aluminum ring. I work in Copper, Bronze, Stainless Steel, Nickel Steel, Sterling Silver, Anodized [colored] Aluminum and Niobium. The bracelet I posted is a little more chunky, but the same weave in very small rings would be delicate.
I do chains for dog tags, and my rings supplier has just started to show a line of laser-etched tags, including dogtags.
If you're interested in beaded pieces, I have those, too.
Sound like what you might be interested in?
Thanks for asking.

For those of you who have tried using my Paypal account and have been confounded, the way to transact business through Paypal is for you to PM or email the business address your email account, and what you would like to buy. I will then email you a Paypal invoice. If you would rather not work that way, PM me and we'll see if we can work it out.

You may also want to add a little text to your post with payment instructions.
I will do as you suggest [which I did in private to people who had questions].
However, I will show her your page tonight and see if that restriction can be temporarily lifted.
I would like 2 pairs of the earrings, one pair green and one pair red.
Let me know if I just pay 10 dollars with paypal.
Thanks.
After you decide, PM me and we can decide if you'd like custom personal delivery or not.
I've done a little clean-up on the first two images. You may need to refresh the page to see the new versions. I LOVE the printed labels identifying each piece. Great idea. Let me know when you post more.
