Utah officers say mysterious voice called them to rescue baby trapped inside car

This happened about 9 miles from my home. I personally know one of the officers that was at the scene.

The woman was dead, yet they (all 4 officers) clearly heard a womans voice screaming for help. The baby was alive, suspended out of the water.

For those that believe in an afterlife this is pretty easy to explain, for the rest I am curious how you view such events

I saw AJs posting yesterday and read some of the articles. I respect what they say but ask some questions. If one does believe in an afterlife, where is the logic in coming back from the grave to scream "help!" Why not "my baby's trapped!! She 's alive! Save her! " I would explain it as a Baader Meinoff kind of phenom. The emergency response team has most likely all heard people crying for help before. A rushing river creates lots of sound. The mind orders and categorizes sounds into familiar groupings. So when someone said after the ordeal was over did you hear that....everyone thinks for a moment and orders it up in their mind and says yes. I heard that. Of course we have limited information as to how the officers discussed the incident. To me the miracle is that the baby survived such a horrendous event. But how awful for their family. The mom was only 25.
