By what legal mechanism could this be achieved?
Change the constitution, possible but takes too long.
Bend the rules, possible, much experience here, needs a compliant supreme court.

But there is an easy way, many precedents, Putin did it - find a stand-in.
Suggestions, Mrs BO perhaps, or her mother.

He truly thinks he's the best prez ever in the history of the world. I think his sights are set on a fat U.N. job. The puppet masters have someone waiting in the wings to take his place to finish destroying this country.

He's in a race to the finish line as it is. It's only a matter of time before the wheels come off the economic wagon we're on and his ego won't allow for that. He wants to be in the position of elder statesman so he can say, "this could never have happened while I was in charge!".

What I find interesting is how he's undercutting his own party. Hillary, despite her obvious and numerous flaws as a candidate clearly enjoys the support of an huge number of Democrats, yet Mr. Obama seems oddly indifferent or maybe even hostile to her.

It is honestly the most frightening, mind rending prospect.... I'd take up arms.
