My grandfather, who lived in Madison all his live, much of it in an Italian immigrant area, said car dealers would see him and say, "oh no, here comes Johnny come to Jew me down." That was probably the only English word he knew for haggle. My parents remember people discriminating against ethnic Italians in Madison. I think I know fewer than ten words of Italian, and racism seems like ancient history to me.

I hadn't seen the story about the graffiti until now. It's three miles west of me. I think it's probably kids messing around looking to get a reaction. The area in question is possibly the most "Republican" area of Madison proper, around 25%. I think the vandals' motivation is even less intellectual than the Republican/Democrat thing-- it's just kids misbehaving.

They are confused. They know someting is wrong, but the propaganda distracts them from recognizing the source of the problem: banksters and their looter politician puppets.

This is disgusting, but it is exactly what our rulers want. They have been working hard to feed hatred and division in our country. Those of us who aren't "minorities" or the "oppressed" are pretty sick of it, which, of course, does not excuse these actions.
