Two X chromosomes make the inevitability - that and being a progressive. Being a conservative wouldn't matter at all regarding race or gender, but for progressives, those things matter mightily.

I simply can't wrap my head around the fact that Limbaugh does not understand why we are scared of her. A large portion of the country voted for Obozo just because he is black , and they touted the fact that it is proof that we have risen above racism...see...look...we voted in a black guy...that proves we aren't racist anymore. All that liberal white guilt and 90 some percent of blacks that voted for him echoed this. Now, it will be "Look, we need to vote in a woman to show the world that we don't keep women down...it is time...we have always had men...why not a woman". Once again, voting for the wrong reasons; not looking to who is better suited to run the country. Limbaugh points to Elizabeth Warren and John Kerry as other Democrats that could be better for their cause. Warren would fit the need to have a woman president, but she does not have the name recognition with the majority of Democrats that don't pay attention. They ALL know who Hillary is...few know who Elizabeth Warren is.

The possibility of 8 years of Billary after 8 of O=0 is indeed very scary.

It will be the end of this country. And in our lifetimes. How goes the saying? It is one thing to be born free, it is a huge responsibility to die free.

I'm turning 68 next month and wondering what this country will look like when it is time for me to take a dirt nap.

Good to meet you, dino. I have enjoyed your style of commenting. You're 8 years my senior, but we both cover such a unique era of rapidly evolving culture from good to bad, bad to worse(?), we have all this in common. Along those lines, my Dad passed away in 2000 and my Mom in 2008, and they have not had to see what the last 6 - 14 years have wrought.

My mother died in 2006. My father being 7 years older, I thought he would go first, especially after he had triple bypass surgery during the 90s.
But he is still ticking along at 97 years of age. A sister-in-law looks in on him daily at a retirement village by Nashville (I live in the Birmingham area).
Dad is senile and he really does not have a handle on his own surroundings--never mind the crap being done to this country. .

My Dad served in WWII in the North African campaign on through to Italy. He made no bones about it, he hated Arabs from those experiences. Very colorful descriptors.

He did not live to see 9/11. But good lord, I can hear now what he would have said.

My dad was an executive with an engineering degree at a company that made swing sets and bicycles and tricycles and other such stuff for little kids.
My dad tried to enlist after the Pearl Harbor attack.
Government said no you stay right where you are.
That company was converted to make parts for such things as Corsair fighter planes.
The company reconverted to make stuff for kids when the war ended.

            Hi, Scaly One:
I'm quite closer to assuming room temperature than you, and have been fighting off disbelief for years. What has my beloved country become? Frankly, I don't want to be around if it completes its downward trajectory.

She's abjectly corrupt, flush with cash, and will most certainly get a pass by the MSM, just like our current president. Benghazi would have taken any other candidate down for good. Sorry state of affairs this.

Not a fan up front. Her comment on using any crisis to advance the cause is right out of the Cycle of Repression (Carlos Marighella) strategy and tactics book as a way to take and maintain control of a nation. He wrote it for dirt poor undermanned rebels of the leftist persuasion. She figured out, along with others, it can be used by the government as well. Reference is the Tupamaro Rebellion Uruguay in the sixties
You can google the rest and see if my take fits your read on the subject. Hmmmmm given a choice between Clinton and Kerry I wouldn't vote for either but she wasn't a turncoat anti-military coward. Course she wasn't in the military but then I' was infantry and not a Swift Boat Vet. I don't vote for lesser or greater of two evils. If that's there choices we're in trouble cause I don't vote for the other evil half of the Government Party either or is it neither.
Anyway read up on Cycle of Repression. It will sound very very familiar.

How can Rush not understand how Hillary controls the press! It is obvious why she lost to Obama, he out-Alinskyed her. They are the same, both admire Alinsky, but she wrote a 92-page thesis glorifying him, while Obama attended a training school which taught his methods used in "Rules for Radicals". Both go along with the UN, including Agenda 21. Remember when Hillary ran around as first lady, asking who had spare bedrooms. A step toward the loss of private property rights via what became Agenda 21. The media and the dumbed down public live by soundbites, they do not do the research to find out who these people are. They just remember with fondness the boyish Bill Clinton. Of course our gutless RINOs are not going to disillusion them and so are afraid of her being picked as the candidat they must face. None of the media mentioned Alinsky in relation to Obama, nor will they with Hillary. The silence of the RINOS, not Hillary, will defeat them.

we have a spare, or "guest," bedroom -- currently
being used by a friend between homes. . when it
was empty, I had nightmares of fascist controllers
stepping in and allocating our bedroom to their
friends in exchange for a Dem vote!!! -- j

Haven’t heard Rush for quite a while & don’t consider his rants very useful or interesting, so no opinion on his opinions on Hillary, etc..

However , using the term “progressive” to describe ANYHING that ANY of the Statists, whether lib, conserve, dem or repub do is a disservice to the cause of freedom. They’ve hi-jacked the word “liberal”, which now means the opposite of its original pro-freedom meaning and they’ve done the same with the word ““progressive”, which I take to mean, in this context, “Moving society FORWARD, toward lasting peace, prosperity and freedom”. Statists, politicians, bureaucrats, all professional confiscators, do precisely the opposite, taking society BACKWARDS toward lasting war, poverty and servitude. They are all REgressives, certainly not progressives.

You may be correct about the word appropriation but that happened long before we were born. Good old Teddy Roosevelt was, if not the first, the most prominent early "progressive" and was proud of it. We owe much of the damage done to the country in the progressive name to TR, Woodrow Wilson, another Roosevelt, LBJ, Nixon, and Obama. A majority of the presidents following TR are of identical ilk. The only reason the country isn't already France is because of the few non-progressives among the others. I expect that we will be Greece in less than 10 years.

"She was a failure as secretary of state," Limbaugh continued. "I look at her as old and tired."
I agree. Her mere appearance makes me think of an old female clown, especially when she's talking. Maybe she should borrow some of pinch-face Pelosi's Botox.
Benghazi Killary really proved to be the buffoon when she copied O's stupid "You didn't build that" speech a couple of months ago, backpedaling from her statements the very next day when it drew some flak.
Should Killary be elected, I think it will be more about the successful Dems at the helm drive to ramp up the numbers of those now dependent on the plastic that has replaced food stamps.

That woman literally has blood on her hands. It's pretty hard to find, but if you search you can find a reference to more than twenty people associated with Bill and Hillary who died under mysterious circumstances after affiliating themselves with the Clintons. The preponderance of evidence is startlingly clear.

Yes - for running guns to people the CIA refused to deal with. You can be sure that if it was anyone but a Democrat in the White House the media would have made this into such an outrage the President would have been impeached before the last election.

She hasn't been seen or heard from in the last 2 or three months. Perhaps she thinks she's overexposed too early. I think she'll jump out and shout BOO in a few more months.

She'll wait as long as possible so that she doesn't step in something that will stick to her. I still have some hope that Trey Goudy will find something that she can't explain away. She's a total incompetent, which fully qualifies her to win the job of POTUS.

Presidential elections are first of all about convincing supporters that you can use the money they give you to be popular enough with the voters to win- and then, once elected, deliver favors in exchange for the money they donate to your campaign. She lost to Obama because Obama had that southern preacher manner, and he was BLACK. Plus Hillary has a very bit#@ like manner, not to be trusted.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when she found out Bill was having non-sex with Monica Lewinsky. I suspect some version of "Damn it Bill, you are messing up the whole presidency thing with me as first lady, AND tainting my run at the presidency later". I suspect there was little mention of love and devotion of a husband and wife at all. She is cold as any alaskan glacier.

Its about loyalty to the party.
Besides they have enough dirt on her to guarantee that loyalty continues.
    (Like Obama's incriminating birth records,)
She tolerated Bill. Now she gets her own place in history, and blame for the coming collapse.

When picking a Pinocchio for political office, you pick the one with the shortest nose. Hillary is not a good choice based on long pointy noses. Any candidate with lifelong ambition for political office is not a good choice for me. Nevertheless, people will vote for her as they would vote for a Kardashian if they ran for office thanks to being over exposed. What HIllary has most is that she's been around a long time, good or bad. More wicked is the devil for being old than for being the devil.
