We still don't know this about our current fearless leader. In fact, it seems that for all of his years spent in academia, no one remembers him... or at least the media can't find one who does.

A bunch of penny-ante and picayune allegations and allusions which they have had to go back to his college days to dig up. They don't bother examining all of his accomplishments - winning and running one of the most liberal counties in the state, winning the governorship and being the first governor to survive a recall - despite the Dems and unions throwing everything they could at him. And not one, but two, "John Doe" investigations (basically open ended fishing expeditions) by a highly partisan county district attorney, who's wife is a teacher union advocate and vocal opponent to the actions of the governor.

I would kind of prefer it if Walker had not been so
interested in being a politician, as opposed to want
ing to live his own life. But the fact of his not hav-
ing a college degree is no demerit to me. Washing-
ton didn't have one; Lincoln didn't have one. I very
much wanted Scott Walker to run in 2012. I don't
agree with the "war on drugs",however; I consid-
er such laws a violation of individual rights, as
long as the drug-taking and trafficking involve
only consenting adults and people who are not
under a special obligation to abstain (military,
police, civilian driving a car, etc). Still, Walker
seems like one of the few actually to have guts
and a spine; at this point, I could vote for him
    for President with enthusiasm.

To me, Walker's lack of a degree and his working record are plusses. It seems to me that most graduates come out of college dumber than when they went in. There are a few notable exceptions. As governor, he has put in one hell of a good performance. I'm almost tempted to tell the brightest and the best, that if you want a career in politics, follow Walker's example and get to work and drop out.

It's what happens when the media refuses to do its job.

The biggest downfall to politics is a lack of responsibility, which predicates a knowledge of what should be going on and what actually happened. The failure of the MSM to report either of these two is a direct affront to the protections they enjoy from the First Amendment.

I'll never forget how The One Chairman Pinocchio began to rule what became the most duplicitous scandal-cluttered banana republic styled regime ever.
As fast as he stated that his presidency would be the most transparent ever, it's in the news that all his school records vas verbotten to the public.
    I'm all like--WHAT?!?!???
It was a sign of things to come . . .
(I know I misspelled that comic book German).

I want a good administrator as president, not some sort of "king". I voted for Ross Perot when he ran for that reason. I would vote for Donald Trump now, simply because he would say it like it is. The best situation we can have is a divided government which can actually do NOTHING in terms of spending my money. At least Trump would not hide in the shadows like Obama.

Funny you should say that... the CEO of the company that manages my IRAs keeps saying that Gridlock in Washington is the best possible scenario for the stock market because Congress can't do much to muck up the economy!

And he keeps being right about that!

But we have divided government for awhile now, where little gets done. Imagine if Obama had both houses of congress and the supreme court to validate his socialist tendencies.

Thank you for educating term2 to a past reality. i think it is unfortunate that you are not educated to the ways of government and how these civil servants commonly referred too as congressmen and president interact. keep in mind they are birds of a feather. regardless who they are when they open their mouths they are lying. that said it is irrelevant which of them regardless of party is there they will always do what they think is in THEIR best interest, not yours. this is how it has been since lincoln was the president and what causes you to think that "a good administrator" will ever come along and do what is in the best interests of the country?

I am saying that is what we NEED, not what we are getting. As long as cronyism is allowed in our government, it has to degenerate to what we have now.

I remember being educated. Turns out what I learned was pretty much a pretty fantasy.

All that wasted time memorizing dates and bills congress passed for the good of the peeples.

Presidency is a sham really. The president is picked by groups of supporters as the one who can maneuver and lie to the voters to get elected and further THEIR cronyism. The supporters are needed to provide the $$ to accomplish that maneuvering and lying through TV ads.

the reason there is no documentation is because the guy is a con-man. 'THE ESSENCE OF A CON-MAN'S LIE, OF ANY SUCH LIE, NO MATTER WHAT THE DETAILS IS THE ATTEMPT TO GAIN A VALUE BY FAKING CERTAIN FACTS OF REALITY" "NOW YOU CAN'T GRASP THE LOGICAL CONSEQUENSES OF THAT KIND OF POLICY? FOR INSTANCE, SINCE ALL FACTS OF REALITY ARE INTERRELATED, FAKING ONE OF THEM LEADS THE PERSON TO FAKE OTHERS; ULTIMATELY , HE IS COMMITTED TO AN ALL-OUT WAR AGAINST REALITY AS SUCH. BUT THIS KIND OF WAR NO ONE CAN WIN. IF LIFE IN REALITY IS A MAN'S PURPOSE, HOW CAN HE EXPECT TO ACHIEVE IT WHILE STRUGGLING AT THE SAME TIME TO ESCAPE AND DEFEAT REALITY."" THE CON-MAN'S LIES ARE WRONG ON PRINCIPLE. TO STATE THE PRINCIPLE POSITIVELY; HONESTY IS A LONG RANGE REQUIREMENT OF HUMAN SELF-PRESERVATION AND IS, THEREFORE, A MORAL OBLIGATION." SAID BY AYN RAND TO LEONARD PEIKOFF AND REPORTED SO TO SPEAK BY LP IN HIS FORD HALL FORUM TALK ABOUT HIS 30 YEARS WITH AYN RAND.
as i see it 0 is an imoral person and has lived a lie since he was in high school.

In answer to the original question.

The intense scrutiny was reserved solely to attempt to cause combustion or even better self immolation on every republican candidate.

No effort could be spared to look at the ONE, plus the fear of being labeled racist headed off any inclination to dig into his past.

I was involved in politics in Illinois for over 20 years. I had friends in the state legislature who told me that Obama was a good speaker but he can't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heal. The problem with this country is that people relate the ability to speak well with intelligence, which are not related at all.

Actually, they can't. And they've been trying for about 10 yrs, first when Walker was the Milwaukee County Executive (and had to deal with an overly liberal county board), and now as governor. His opponent, the dems, and the unions all dug with all their might, including the Milwaukee County DA who's wife was a union advocate who has conducted 2 secret investigations into every aspect of Walker since his first public election, and nobody can find anything even remotely questionable. Walker's probably the most vetted candidate in US history. The worst they could find was a county employee who took a phone call on campaign business and didn't walk out of the county government office - and they prosecuted her and she's spending 3 yrs in jail! Yet the wife of the Milwaukee Mayor (who ran against Walker for Governor) used actual equipment of the city to send out campaign material, but she has never been charged with anything. Total hypocrisy.

Obama was a state senator in Illinois from 1996 to 2004. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004. He was a U.S. senator from Illinois, not a state senator, while he was a candidate for the presidency.
