It's the same reason we should not invade another country to liberate the people there. If they want to live under a tyranny instead of dieing to try and fighttit, that is their choice. Not mine or yours or anyone else's.
I wonder if people would call it murder to take a loved one off of life support in the hospital. They are in a coma, and can't decide for themselves, so we choose to ask a close relative, such as the parents, who are in some cases paying for the life support system, if they want to stop the support.
Of course it isn't a perfect metaphor. Nothing is. Obviously we can for the most part know that a fetus will "wake up" where as the coma patient is indefinite.
Either way, I believe in freedom and people should have the right to choose what to do with their bodies as long as they aren't using force or fraud against another individual. And this article does nothing but appeal to pathos.
To her dying day, she never supported the murder of unborn children.
To support killing the child because it might suffer or its quality of life might not be very good is to support euthanasia at the other end.
