I have a problem. I'm basically self-sufficient. I grow a lot of my own food. Raise chickens for eggs and meat and garden. I'm a 'secret shopper' for money. That means I do shops of stores for a fee as an independent contractor for several different companies. They usually pay $5 to $20, but I can take mileage off money earned at $0.565 a mile, so if a job is 10 miles away and pays $10 I actually have no income ($10 - 11.30 = -$1.30) I have enough to live the life I want, my only option under the law is medicaid. I don't want it, but I'll be fined if don't sign up. Any ideas what I can do?

Don't forget in some states, if you do sign up for medicaid the "state" then gets your home, worldly goods and any money from your estate. They force you to take it or be fined and then rape you after you are dead. Sweet deal Obummer.

I can’t tell anybody else what to do. I will never sign-up for Obamacare. The fear of the fine is nonsensical. For the next couple years, the fine is one percent, two percent? You have a low income, so do the math, you could probably pay the fine without undue hardship. It’s worth paying just to keep your dignity for now while buying some time on the hope the law will be changed later on. (Again, this is just my personal believe.) There is a good chance this law could be repealed in 2017, so why worry? Let’s just watch the sinking ship and stay out of the way of the wake. When the fight is really over...then worry about paying fines and being forced onto a government program. Trust me, lots and lots of people have chosen to pay the fine for now. You won’t be alone. Even if you don’t have much of an income, why risk signing up on a website that isn’t even secure and won’t be unless they tear it down and start over? You have to stand up for ‘You’.
I knew that sooner or later my country would go too far in instituting controls in my life and I would have to make a decision to just say no. This is that time. This is the time for civil disobedience.
