Will the producers finally rid themselves of some of the moochers?

Not that all of the Eurozone can truly be considered "producers" but they are more so than is Greece.

    Is it appropriate to label one state as "moocher" and another as "producer"?
    I just can't get my head around the concept of a "producer" state.
    I might be wrong, but I have always seen Rand's moocher/producer relationship as between the state and the people. So the German state mooches off its people just the same, but the people are very productive so they can afford to feed their monster. Greece has producers as well, but just not enough.

      You're getting too wrapped around "the state." Germany and Japan are very productive for example, regardless of their political environment. The US is largely still productive, regardless of our oppressive and socialistic government. Greece, on the other hand, has gone over the edge and neither political nor social aspects are productive.

      Well, for many years you couldn't even understand what he said, so that was probably a good reaction. Today, I'm not so sure that he's specifically trying to shape policy or behavior. You have to make your own determination on how to interpret the message. But to ignore the message seems imprudent.

    I would love to see Greece set free to survive or fail without interference by either socailists or banksters, but both will want to make an example and parasitize the productive majority of Greeks.

    A free Texas would suffer the same parasitic forces of evil interfering with free markets and productivity.

    Greece's new leader is quite brazen about making Greece into a moocher nation. He said last week that he would not wear a tie until Greece pays off its debt. A snowball has a better chance in the Saharan desert than that.
