"Atlas Shrugged" movie trilogy
I have been a student of Objectivism for 43 years. I collected the 3 parts of Atlas Shrugged The Movie over 3 years so I could watch them consecutively in one sitting. My expectations were not high. "The Fountainhead" translated very poorly to cinema many years ago.
But, I must say that the movie failed to meet my admittedly low expectations. Part One was OK, the cast was pretty good. Part Two was poor. By the time I completed Part Three, I was asking myself "What the He!! were they thinking?" In the last installation, they had turned Ayn Rand's opus into a wannabe episode of "The Blacklist".
This was a bigger disappointment than I imagined. Ever.
