2 NYPD Police Killed in Execution

Just finished watching the news conference in NY about the 2 police executed by an idiot.
You had to see something like this coming. I fear that there will be more. There will also be more coming from police and gun control.
Too bad something like this happens.

Yet this is not the first time people like the Mayor and his ilk have sided with those who refuse to obey the law. Obama is equally at fault for not insisting that the law and those who are there to protect us, be obeyed regardless of whether you agree or not.
What would this mayor do if the police resign in a mass protest against the actions and words that this mayor has done and spoken. He should resign out of respect to the two officers who were assassinated.
Will Obama attend the funerals? I doubt it although he sent a number of people to the funeral of a thief and bully.
We need to replace these people with people who will obey the constitution, the laws of our land and respect for the law.
companies like Sony are cow-towing to them.
FBI 2013 Crime Clock Statistics:
One murder every 27.1 seconds
One rape every 37 minutes
One robbery every 6.6 minutes
One aggravated assault every 43.5 seconds
A property crime occurred every 3.7 seconds
for DisGusting DeBlasio. Absolutely heart-wrenching.
But now comes a hint "jihad" might be behind this.
The mayor of NY fails to control demonstrations. It's OK to demonstrate but in a city like NY it means someone will die when they block the streets or bridges. There's a life or death ambulance or fire truck rushing to a hospital or fire every few minutes there. Blocking access mean the demonstration is out of control and the mayor and police commissioner are not doing their jobs.
A bunch of mooching punks useful only to protest organizers. I wonder if George Soros money was spent.
I believe it was Lenin who called people easily manipulated to march in protests or to act out far worse "useful idiots."
That's what I was trying to allude to originally.
= The seed of hate and anger was planted by the white people who control the TV. ~ Not the religion of victims that are being holocausted for more than 1,000 years now. Lead by white christian with an ignorant vote.
Islam was the tipping point, justifying and encouraging his murderous thoughts and assisting in putting those thoughts to work. I suspect that the murderer realized what he did after reality set in and killed himself.
FACT: prior to murdering the policemen he'd posted passages from the quran online.
Again I ask, coincidence? Hardly...its a pattern.
I believe you have correctly stated the important point: this attack was the lashing out of someone who had been taught to consider himself a victim. In that context, I doubt that his suicide was due to realization of guilt or wrongdoing. I think it was another 'act of power' inasmuch as any other choice would have resulted in his arrest and made him a victim in fact (as opposed to 'in his own mind'). There is also the datum that prior to shooting the police he shot and wounded an ex-girlfriend.
All of these actions add up to a man taking power into his own hands for a last desperate act of defiance. For a few hours, he did not feel himself to be a victim.
We have gotten to a very bad place.

Damnit, I got stuck on a double reversal of tenses... sorry. And it was going so well...

I think Rudy has a better perspective than folks who might blame de Blasio. de Blasio's shortcoming is that he's a socialist who, like his predecessor, believes that more money pissed into government coffers will solve all the problems affecting all of his constituents.
A common liberal fantasy...
This was certainly predictable. Very bad.

More gun control will clearly help, since the rules in place presently were obviously followed.
At least the NY Post article correctly refers to the assailant's gun as a "semi-automatic".
And quite frankly, the armed police officers were unable to protect themselves from a determined assailant.
