- 2Posted by CircuitGuy 9 years, 11 months agoDisgraceful. If they were after someone who did something ghastly like abusing children, at least I could understand the perceived need for abusive tactics. They were after people willingly providing a product to willing customers. They didn't find it. It's just disgraceful. It undermines the law further by making law-abiding citizens reluctant to call the police if they see a crime. I makes people not feel like citizens of a republic, with the rights and responsibilities that come with it.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 2Posted by khalling 9 years, 11 months agothis is the second such case I've read about in a handful of days. In both cases the suspects were shot in the head as they were handcuffed. In the other case, the man was 20 years old with no criminal history. In this case-the whole purpose of the raid was found to be in error. How are we training our police officers? The tactics swat teams use will necessarily mean people will react. They are scared and will protect themselves, their families, their homes. Because that behavior is not what you would expect of police. It is the behavior you expect of thugs.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
