The Most Important Amendment, by Robert Gore | STRAIGHT LINE LOGIC
This Saturday, 12/13/14, everyone is invited to join the I Will Not Comply rally from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Washington State Capital, Gateway Park, 416 Sid Snyder Avenue SW, Olympia, Washington. The rally is civil disobedience in defiance of new, unconstitutional gun legislation, i594, passed in Washington on November 4, 2014. Participants will openly exchange, buy, sell, and trade guns to violate i594 in every way possible. There are a variety of speakers. For further information: https://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.c... and http://callmegav.com/ral/.
In conjunction with the rally, I posted the article above on Straight Line Logic, which can be accessed via the link.

"Congress shall make no law..."
My suggestion is that many people violating the law wear Santa hats, just for the "hunh?" value.
Yes, if possible, let us know how it goes. I assume you will be taking the normal precautions - video recorders, still cameras, first aid kits. The reporters who are openly taking pictures HATE it when you take their pictures.
And someone, somewhere, should wear a Tyranny Response Team t-shirt or hat.
For Liberty!
"Constitution or no Constitution, how can human beings be denied a right essential to every organism: the right of self-defense?"
Easy...
"Well, Ms. Parks, can you demonstrate a NEED to sit in the front of the bus?"
The boneheaded opposition will argue from the apparent lack of NEED for self-defense of ANY kind, including weapons like guns, and the pro-defense side will not refute that inane assertion.

I recall, when I was a child, that taxes were spent largely on infrastructure, education, and military. These were things that benefited most of the people who paid the taxes. Now my taxes are spent on paying people not to have jobs and on supporting the EPA...who in turn makes it more difficult to start a business, build a building, or produce oil. These are all things which work to my dismay, not my benefit.
The authority we grant the government should be used to protect us.

This law will be almost as effective as the Washington State laws about what you can and can't do while having sex with your wife in your own bedroom.
"Your proposal ... is ... acceptable."
("Men in Black")
Maybe the Bible I also keep by it should be in hiding at that point.
Pistol? What pistol? Oh, that pistol.
Well, I sold that at a yard sale before there was a law against that.
His name? Oh, I was more interested in the money. Needed it really, really bad.
Its called spreading the wealth around.
Have a nice day. Power to the people, comrade citizens.
(Door closes. My middle finger is raised).
You will be made to care and comply, comrade.
If it ever get so bad that superior authority sent cops to steal guns, they probably would beat me up for the slightest perceived insult.

Me dino don't wanna go figure the why either.
Governments always prefer unarmed peasants... All the better to subjugate.
