That's a lot of the reason why I did the audio.
I think when people read the pieces the whole sarcastic indignation of Juvenalian satire doesn't readily come across.
Even Joan, who is as familiar with these pieces as anyone commented that the audio enhances the impact of each piece.
I've been doing these recordings now for about three weeks, a couple of hours at a time.
I don't have a sound room, so I had to wait for times when everyone in the house was quiet.
"In all I work, in all I think,
in all I rest and play,
I try to stay true to myself
and out of others' way."
Right now I need to get over the urge to go berserk over the concept of an Obama statue in every town.
Such would all deserve a movie monster attack with any worshipers found sent running and screaming.
I'll look beyond the tyrant's birthday bit a little later.
Pnat! Pant! Obama statues nationwide. OMG!
May you find inspiration from these two enlightening videos.

I never saw the cartoon or that movie.

The movie clip is from "One Crazy Summer" made by "Savage" Steve Holland, the same guy who made "Better Off Dead".

Oh, fine rapture,
words that capture.
Memories of moments,
elations and foments.
The poet’s day is won,
the poems now all sung.
Bravo!

“An Accounting” was my favorite thus far.
