I'm Judge Andrew Napolitano, Senior Judicial Analyst for Fox News Channel, and New York Times best selling author. I was the youngest life-tenured Superior Court judge in the history of the State of New Jersey and I'll be here today from 1PM to 2PM ET to take your questions and to talk about my new book "Suicide Pact" (http://suicidepactbook.com/), a book exposing the alarming history of presidential power grabs performed in the name of national security.

Today through Wednesday, when you buy "Suicide Pact", you'll be eligible to get another one of my books, "The Freedom Answer Book", for free. Find details here: http://suicidepactbook.com/bookbomb.php

Gulch Producers get a third book of mine, "Theodore and Woodrow: How Two American Presidents Destroyed Constitutional Freedom", for free as well. Find details here: http://www.galtsgulchonline.com/posts/1a...

Alex will be helping me out with my today by reading me the questions over the phone and typing my responses. I look forward to your questions and comments. I'll be back at 1PM ET.

Why do politicians' spines become like linguini when they go to Washington? Is it because all of them have such nasty skeletons in their closets that others can blackmail them via the intelligence agencies?

Thank you for joining us. You are most welcome in Atlantis, Judge Napolitano. I just received your latest book on Friday and started reading it. Are you allowed to comment on the termination (and hopefully reinstatement) of Freedom Watch?

Judge, in the beginning the constitution designated Senators as state representatives (chosen by their legislatures), and that POTUS and VP were the top two electoral vote-getters.

With regards to the Senate, how much do you think this has taken away the essence and purpose/intent of the bicameral system and would you be in favor of returning to that? Would you agree that this amended rule is a significant factor in the disintegration of states' rights?

Regarding the presidency, what impact do you think that system would have today?

Judge, my hero!...I want to know how to neuter the mainstream media that reports only what it wants to report. The current ROLLING STONES case is an opportunity, it seems to me, to require fair and balanced reporting or close their doors. Is there a realistic way to do this??

How can we end the perpetual "temporary" State of Emergency?

    STATE OF EMERGENCY
    Senate Report 93-549
    War and Emergency Powers Acts
"A majority of the people of the United States have lived all of their lives under emergency rule. For 40 years (as of the report 1933-1973), freedoms and governmental procedures guaranteed by the Constitution have, in varying degrees, been abridged by laws brought into force by states of national emergency."

How should a person go about online when the government is able to collect their data, and can piece together seemingly irrelevant data in order to build cases against you. How should one proceed with the internet? Should we move over to bitcoin, online browse using TOR, become hermits in holes under the ground?

Dear Judge, I'm a singer/songwriter in Nashville and having to deal with the Copyright Royalty Board in the Copyright Office that sets music royalty rates at .0012 cents per play for streaming. A 3 judge panel in a "song tribunal" price fixing rates at literally nothing. What can be done to abolish the CRB? Does it take an act of Congress that created the CRB with 2004 Copyright Reform bill or can they be sued on constitutional grounds like a "taking" of property without due process? Thanks and all the best! George

From another contributor to my previous thread:
1), Which poses the greatest danger to the US; the Council on Foreign Relations or the central bank (fed reserve)? And

2), what course of action(s) would he propose to end either of them or both?

In August of this year, my family and I relocated from Connecticut (The People's Republic of Connecticut) to Wyoming.
The choice was due to a number of economic and liberty based realities: the poor economy and job market, the overbearing taxes, zero (I repeat) zero representation of my opinions, the reactionary gun laws, and the Ruling Class attitude of contempt toward people who think as I do,

In January of the previous year, I addressed the Connecticut legislature in their required, pro-forma exercise in which they pretended that they were listening to the concerns of the people over the newly proposed reactionary gun laws.
In that address, I told them bluntly that if they passed their proposed laws that they could "say good-bye to your tax base".

Many studied have shown that my warning was not baseless, the deeply Democrat run states are depopulating of the inconvenient Country Class taxpayers.

Again, do the D.C. Ruling Class realize this, and if they do, do they even care?

I would like to see a constitutional amendment allowing for punishment including arrest and imprisonment of our elected officials (including the president). Impeachment just doesn't have enough teeth to dissuade our elected officials from happily breaking our laws.

My question is whether having a constitutional convention would be a dangerous thing; i.e. would that open the constitution up for all kinds of alterations that we don't want?

    Judge,

Would it be constitutional to restrict campaign donations to candidates a voter is actually eligible to vote for? This would prevent people in one state (or area within a state) from influencing local elections in another state (or area within a state). It would also eliminate union and corporate donations.

Let the individual donate with no limits to those candidates he can actually vote for. The only requirements would be eligibility to vote for the candidate. As far as public disclosure, I am not sure. If your vote is secret, maybe your donation should also be secret.

Judge, Up here in the Midwest it is still difficult to buy ammunition for certain types of firearms. Do you believe there is a concerted effort on behalf of the federal government to implement a form of gun control through restriction of ammunition or is it simply the case where the manufacturers can not keep up with demand?
