Atlas Shrugged Part III: The Tenacity of John Aglialoro

Last week I had the chance to see Atlas Shrugged Part II with a Tea Party audience which was wonderful. Seeing the impact the film had on the audience set my mind into thinking a lot about Ayn Rand this week. Even better was the news released at this site about Atlas Shrugged Part III coming to theaters on schedule which put my mind to great ease.
I cannot wait to see the reaction that the John Galt speech has on critics, general audiences, and the political left when they see Part III. But there is no better way to correct their behavior than to call them out for the parasites that they are, and in film of any kind it has never happened so obviously as what the John Galt speech will surely deliver. The audacity of John Galt will rock the core of the liberal left in ways that they cannot fathom, and I just can't wait.
For those who know the work of Atlas Shrugged well, and who know all about the John Galt speech, I believe that this segment of Part III even condensed down to a shorter version will be powerful film that will resonate for a long time in popular culture.
After this posting, I will back off all the Ayn Rand writing for a while. But I had to tip my hat to John Aglialoro for getting Part III under way. I am VERY excited!

At the theater the couple in front of me bought their tickets under very hushed voices. I thought the guy was just soft spoken until I confronted him about it on the way in. He said he was concerned with people he knew seeing him at the theater. I asked him why.......and he acted like I should know. He and his wife acted like they were going to a pornographic public movie. Very strange as the way the film was done was very clean and stylish. It was about "goodness." That's how upside down our world is currently. Good is bad and bad is good. If the film was Hangover II I'm sure it would have been easier for him. LOL
My son-in-law and daughter as I was writing this just came over for a visit and he is wearing one of the "Who Is John Galt" t-shirts that we passed out as part of the Galt Garrison prior to the film's release. He's not afraid. : ) That's why he's worthy of marrying my daughter.
Thank you for caring enough to write of your experiences, and to show what is happening in front of our eyes. It is good to be among people who share the passion about AS, and what it clearly shows can happen to Producers if the moochers and looters run amok. It's too bad that that man felt discomfort over buying the tickets. Stand proud in knowing the difference between right and wrong, and speaking up about it, I say!
I too was surprised that people would be afraid to be seen going into the movie. I proudly wear my Who Is John Galt t-shirt all the time. Most people don't even notice. 2 weeks ago a girl in the hardware store asked me Who Is John Galt. I said she needed to find out who he was and she ran back to the computer and googled it. When I found my light bulbs ( the none mercury laced ones) I asked her if she found it and she said 'yes. It sounds really interesting I'm going to get it on my Kindle." I saw her again today and she said she has downloaded it but hasn't had a chance to start reading and can't wait for her day off to get started.
I'm glad you liked it. It sounds like a nice parts run with the soundtrack going!
It was a great run. Nothing quite like seeing the sun break through the rain clouds as it climbs over the snow capped mountains while John Galts theme is playing. Then on the way back hurtling down the road to Opening of the John Galt line. The only thing that would have made it better was if the train had been racing me down the track that runs beside the highway. Galt's Gulch really sounds much like the valley I live in here in the Rockies.
Thank you overmanwarrior. I have to revisit this page.
O.A.
I've been in a funk since the election. Little things like the news that Atlas III is in pre-production feels like punching back.............and it feels good.
