Irrefutable argument and entertaining presentation. It reminds me of the street corner exchange I had with Sen. Schumer some years ago, when NY State was about to pass its first reprehensible 'Assault Weapons' law. After hearing me voice similar arguments to those contained in Whittle's speech, he could only respond with an exasperated - 'well, what would you do?' And, that's the point. These men of little intellect and even less integrity are driven to do something, anything, even when they know it is an empty and dishonest solution. They can't wrap themselves around the notion that the Founders had already done what was required to deal with violent criminal behavior or the threat thereof, whether it be from an individual or from the state. As Franklin said, 'we've given you a Republic, if you can keep it".
ok. I'm going to be the only one in this post saying negative things, I guess. I think it's trite for the video to have been set up the way it was, and that detracted from his point. also, he's COVERED in makeup. fail. and he does not have a good speaking voice. that said, the message was great. wrong vehicle to get it out, in my opinion
I didn't notice the make up but I watched it on a 3 x 5 window..what are you watching it on? His videos are usually just him talking, the set up was a little weird (virtual President), but I don't think it hurt the message any. What vehicle would you suggest? (His voice is a little different (or the cadence is), but it doesn't bother me so much... his voice is his voice and I like what he's saying...makes perfect sense...)
I would vote for him in a nanosecond
Thanks for this.
