A tremendous example of 3d printing and Atlas Srugged. My company Signicast gave me a retirement gift. It was a 3d printed globe made of 12 printed wax pieces. These were then investment cast out of stainless and welded together to form a globe. Each half of the globe was a 3d relief of my old plants. The globe was held up by a Signicast logo. All 600+ employees of Signicast knew I was an Atlas Shrugged fan so this was meant to signify Signicast holding up the world.
