Detroit- The city that shrugged
The entire article is about a ludicrous councilwoman, but I thought this was pertinent to the Gulch: "At one time, it had 2.1 million, but people have been fleeing for the exits for two generations. Between the 2000 and 2010 censuses, a quarter of the city's population left for greener pastures"

It is completely logical that it has ended up how it has, at present, because of it's leadership, or lack there of, who were voted into office, by the remaining residents. It's been going on for decades and they can't figure out what THEY are doing wrong so it MUST be somebody else's fault. It's typical liberal thinking and this is where it leads, folks....just like Detroit.... aka Hell. (If you don't believe me...take a drive through it...if you survive the drive...you won't go back.)Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
