I would sooner see Colt and other manufacturers have their employees testify about the tens of thousands of lives saved every year by Colt firearms in the hands of law abiding American citizens, rather than argue the economic impact on Connecticut. Colt's business being negatively effected by new anti-gun laws in the face of Newtown won't sell well in the Commonwealth state. Profits and tax revenues arguments are not going to get a sympathetic hearing. This has to be a discussion about Constitutional principles, not about economics.

If the state continues down it's current path I hope Colt moves it's business and employees to an area that will value them. I know of a nice building here they could move to and they would be very welcome.
