They just don't exist. When Steve Jobs was alive, I often though of him as a Hank in real time. He gave nothing to charity, let his contractors do as they pleased as long as he got this products on-time and only really cared for producers. Tim Cook is almost the opposite. He panders to the greenies, thinks commie workers have the same rights as moral producers, and is in bed with Goldman Sachs. The rest of technology is no better.

Not long after I joined the Gulch, I cast Steve Jobs as Hank Rearden, too, even though Jobs was a bit of a lefty. I still love the "90 hours per week and loving it" T-shirts that Apple had back in the day.

I guess I never made a comment did I? So here it goes, AS3 was heavy on John's love for Dangy. His speach was watered down and his face was never seen in the book. Too bad they didn't put in the part of Hanks fight at his plant and how Francisco helped him. I especially wish they would have put in the part when James Taggert came to Dangy's place yelling 'he's gone". But my points are small. The movie, considering the limited budget was fine. One final though, could a John Galt convince anyone to close their business and go on strike in todays America? Public owned corporations no longer have a founding person whom works for the business. They seem to work for great self wealth and power. They all seem to be in bed with the feds.
