This concept seems to evade most [even reasonably intelligent] people. I presented this concept to a group of friends, including a couple of Biden-voters. Blank looks. It finally began to sink in when I explained that it is a basic supply-and-demand problem, applied to dollars. Flood the market with dollars, and they are naturally worth less.
Last night I was with Republican party candidates and members for the upcoming elections in our county and state. I asked lots of questions regarding budgets and funding sources.
