Tariffs: Discomfort Means It's Working

We were walking a path that decimated the lives and the purchasing power of the people who need it most and took American jobs away from people who needed them the most.
Worse off, it made the United States dependent on adversaries like China to simply go about our day-to-day. When global supply chains were cut off during COVID, it was obvious that our quality of life was 100% dependent on imported goods—everything from consumer electronics to clothing to the ingredients used in pharmaceuticals.
Recalibrating the country away from being dependent on adversarial nations is not a simple and inconsequential thing to do. On the contrary, it’s about as consequential of a decision as we can possibly make, alongside of trying to get our fiscal house as a nation in order.
Consequential means change. Change means discomfort. Discomfort requires courage. On a positive note, to me, it seems like the first time our government has taken more than a 10-day outlook on the future of our nation."

i expected some RINOs to be weak, that is what they do. it also seems they are corrupt beyond redemption (me, shocked, not really, i had hoped for better from them)
The water temperature in the slavery pot has been slowly increasing for decades thanks to the banking cartel.
One can sit in the "safe" warm pot and get boiled to death or one can knock the pot off the fire and escape to freedom.
Time to make the choice: Slavery or Freedom.

If you can see Trumps picture. It's beautiful.
But it requires "going to the gym" for a couple of years to get there. It takes effort.
My brother who never followed politics or the news (loves Trump). Says "He's a blast to follow, and he's doing the things anyone with a brain would do!"... "Suddenly politics isn't boring!"
I laughed, but he is SO RIGHT. Trump has people TALKING politics. Taking sides, making arguments. He's engaging the masses and triggering the Deep State.
Besides. We are in deep trouble. Obviously we were wasting BILLIONS of dollars. Could you imagine if Trump sent $2 Billion to a charity owned by "Kari Lake" in his waning days of his first term like Biden did???
Anyways. I losing money in the market right now. I stand to lose a good six figures. BUT if you asked me, would I rather have MORE money and THE STATUS QUO for my daughter... The answer is HELL NO. Lets pay the price, bring jobs back. Bring HOPE Back.
It will take 10yrs for many of these "trees" to bear fruits. Going after Tariffs was the fastest moving items, and it TAKES money from the Globalists and removes the will to resist us in Ukraine. (They will NOT be able to afford to send their militaries to help the mental midget in Ukraine).
And I am doubly fine with that.
Yes, we will suffer some pain. Maybe I will NEVER be made whole. Again, read a bit about what happened to those brave patriots who signed the Declaration of Independence. Most lost everything they had. Had to completely rebuild.
While I feel a bit too old to rebuild. I now play the game for my offspring. Besides, I could lose a few pounds on the "Brazil Diet" (no food, no eats, LOL)
Their parasitism is the reason the markets (and debt financed real estate) have been irrationally over-priced for 25+ years.
