The Little Red Hen... Plucky Smart Bird

We can cure the "free lunch" flu by treating it at the dinner table with an inoculation of "Little Red Hen" vaccine. This is a major gap in the education system. Someone should have been teaching and testing on the Little Red Hen.

If no one grows the food, cooks the food, plates the food or delivers the food, then pretty soon nobody gets a free lunch.

I founded a business teaching Optics, Lighting and Visibility to Forensic Investigators. I offered the idea to the forensic engineering company where I work full-time. All I asked was some help in building the curriculum. Their response: "Not now, but go ahead on your own. If it works out, we'll talk."

My thought: "No, if it works out, we won't talk!"

I thought that I'd name the business LRH, LLC for Little Red Hen. But, when I discovered that LRH was already copyrighted by L. Ron Hubbard, I decided that I'd probably go for another name...

I doubt they could copyright 3 letters. Copyrights don't apply to names, or phrases. They might have trademarked it and I guess they are in the training/teaching category. The Little Red Hen is such a good capitalist children's story. It teaches more economics than most kids will get until they reach college where the "professors" will do their best to erase the memory of it. I think it is archetypical like a Henry Moore sculpture. But then I suppose the progressives like "Stone Soup"?
