I finished reading “The Golden Pinnacle” a few weeks ago and finally made time to post a review. This is one of the best books I have ever read. I give it 6 stars in a five star rating. TGP is so entertaining, drawing the reader in making them want more. It’s inspirational and delivers the message that honor and dignity are important virtues. It brought me back to a time when doing the right thing was the only thing to do, even when it is difficult and costly. I highly recommend “The Golden Pinnacle” to everyone. Mr. Gore, keep writing!

To those urging me to write another book, one is in the works. It will continue the Durand saga, which is a projected trilogy. This next book runs from the 1920s to the 1970s. Unfortunately, I am a slow writer and I have to do a lot of research, in addition to keeping up a website (which I'm in the process of upgrading). And for those who think it would make a good movie, send an message to Scott Desapio. I suggested it to him but at the time he was busy with some other project. Now that he's done with that project, he may be more receptive.

I am also reading "The Golden Pinnacle" and find myself completely engrossed in the book. Like edweaver has pointed out, it does bring you back to a time when working hard, making tough decisions, and being the best that you can be everyday was the way to win the world.

I know that time actually did exist as I lived in the very last part of it and I was rewarded for hard work, determination, and being smart. Todays world punishes people that exhibit these qualities and for me, this book has demonstrated just how far we are removed from what I believe were our country's founding principles. I am starting to clearly see that many of the people that believe in the big lie of statism, socialism, and communism have never really known or understood the truth. This book, like Atlas Shrugged, describes the real truth. Thank you Mr. Gore. Really looking forward to your next effort.

When I was half way though it, I was told it gets even better. I did not know how it could but I can truthfully say that is true. It got even better. In fact I think the ending was left open enough for the saga to continue into present day America. One more time, keep writing Mr. Gore! :)
