Hey I got a collection letter from a company I don't shop at saying I owed $6,999.00 but they were generous and would settle for $699.00. How stupid is this? These scams are getting way over the top.

I noticed recently when paying a company I was buying a product for the first time from that they auto-prompted me to use a credit card that I hadn't used for years until a couple of weeks ago and that I am not using any more now that I had my other hacked credit card replaced. Very disturbing.

I'm not particularly in love with my new SUV...it has a fabulous interior but the gear shift thingy is a little round item you dial. I figured out the windshield wipers out of necessity (we are having a good time here on the Gulf Coast of Texas). I can open the trunk! I got the book. It is a Ford Explorer XLT. My 1014 baby was an Explorer Limited and I adored that car. nb

How do they get your phone number so easily? Ford Motor Credit was at the site and I didn't need anyone else. I've financed 12 cars through Ford Motor Credit. They love me. But I object to this invasion of my privacy. nb
