Was Subjected to Liberal Lunacy Yesterday...must be a sign

Had a strange occurrence yesterday. Before I start I must share a memory... Several years ago I was standing in downtown Sacramento having a conversation with a nice, older women about Big Pharma. Before we spoke we'd each stop and look over our shoulders to make sure there was nobody who might hear what we were about to say. I'll never forget that. Right out of 1984...

Well, yesterday I was having an early-afternoon workout at my local gym. It was very quiet, hardly anybody there. There was one man I've seen just recently who must have just joined. While male, about 50, arms a little spindly, belly a little soft. Clean cut, though. The young man (very nice kid) who works there walked by when I was between sets and asked me, "Why do you think Obama's on the stage today?" I asked, "You mean in a rally for Kamala?" "Yes". I started to say, "Oh, I don't know. Maybe she's desperate or he's just trying to help." But, before I could get though my sentence this stranger yelled over at us very loud as he was on a machine doing a strange exercise, "WHY IS MUSK ON THE STAGE!!!" What caught my attention was the crazed look. His eyes were bulging. I just said, "Huh? I don't know..." as this guy made his way toward us. Very strange. As he got close to me the size difference between us became more clear and he seemed to calm down. But, as he was at his closest I pointed to his little belly and said, "Why aren't you on stage?" He walked off and left us alone. Very odd first interaction. He was pretty worked up over nothing. I was reminded - these people are f'ing dangerous. They're pissed and who knows how this is going to end up. Can they handle defeat? Doesn't seem so. Tortured souls. I hope he's mentally ok going forward.

Right after I cracked up my friend who works there. As we discussed debates I pointed out that the problem with debates is that they now have not just mediators...but "fact-checkers". I said I could beat anybody in a debate as long as I get to pick the fact checkers. I'd pick a couple fishing buddies. He roared. That's why I turned off the last debate with Trump and Kamala. He clearly took the bait and that was it. It was over. Trump is an awful debater. He's certainly got some strengths, but debating isn't one of them. When I recently got in an online argument with some clown over this I pointed this out. The headline of the story was that the VP debate wouldn't have fact checkers. (That was actually a pretty good debate! Useful.) I commented, "Good. In a debate the debaters should be able to fact check each other." Some dillhole said that was all wrong. "OH yeah?" I said. "How about if you and I debate and I get to pick the fact checkers? That's the the Dems have been doing. Works great!" (crickets...)

We're entering interesting times. People are distorting what a debate is, interrupting people they don't know with angry shouts. I've had a longtime friend block my texts purely over our political differences. I think we're going to be in the s&%t in a few weeks. Everybody stay safe...

If Trump wins and the useful idiots attempt to do what they accused the innocents on Jan 6, 2021 of, I think they have earned hails
    ...
    of hollow points.

Until there is punishment for the treason there is nothing to keep the traitors from doing even worse.

When me an old dino goes to vote hobbling along on a cane I'll be carrying a concealed 9mm just like the time before that and the time before that and the time before that~~etc.
I may live in red state Alabama but I also live in Jefferson County in a town that borders a blue Birmingham.
When there, no one has yet to ask who I'm voting for. My ready response will be a calmly stated "It's called a secret ballot."
Should push ever come to shove and it likely won't ever, I also plan to say, "You don't want to see what I carry in my front pocket."
    Always be prepared that's all.

Liberal lunacy? Sounds like redundancy to me! And yeah, it's getting a little scary. One of my old high school friends, as solid as you can get, posted a crazy rant from "the smartest guy he ever knew and that's really smart," with the percentage chances of some very bad things happening, starting with what Republicans will do if Trump loses, and of course it was much more like what will happen if the Dems lose.

NO background, no sources, no reason for his assessment of 100%. Just solid, 100% Appeal to Authority. This was followed by a stupid rant from Neil deGrasse Tyson about how we are ignoring 'people who are smarter than we are," another Appeal to Authority fallacy.

I was a little soothed this morning after getting an e-card from my brother. It was a Hallowe'en greeting which mentioned at the end how spooky it really would be if Trump doesn't win. You and me both, brother, you and me both.

Yeah, the Joe Rogan interview is FAR BETTER than a "debate".

Let's be honest. I always hated that the Republicans were mistreated in the debates, and were expected to have LEFTIST moderators on LEFTIST networks, and NEVER really at Fox the same way.

Trump EXPOSED THEM ALL. First, we learn that HRC got the questions from the Town Hall in advance (think that makes her look better). Then the "support" Obama and HRC got. Then Joe and Kamala.

    Then the press interviews.
"Mr. Trump, why are you so vile?"
"President Obama... I love saying that, it sounds so good... What does everyone love you?"

    followed up with:
We are just as hard on both sides. We are not biased.

ROTFLMAO. And the liberals who listen to this clap like seals (or Tim Waltz)...

God Bless Trump. He woke up most people.
While he is not perfect. He sets a STANDARD on how to take an attack, and deflect it, and keep going. Never stop. Never concede.a

Our problem is that we have allowed government to intrude into too much of our lives. It brings out the power hungry politicians who want a piece of the power pie. Manipulation and superficial things overcome facts and the real issues behind who to appoint in the government.

I watched some of Trump's debates in 2016, and one really impressed me. The question concerned something about New York City and his opponent, one of them said something derogatory about NYC. Trump immediately talked about how NYC on 9/11/01 responded so greatly and admirably. Pretty quick on his feet, I would say.

Yes, I know. Still, he could have just let it pass, the derogatory remarks. But he didn't. He stood up for his town.

I recently told my one Democrat neighbor (before their debate) that if I debated Biden they'd have to carry him out on a stretcher. Biden is a sitting duck in a debate. So is Kamala. Nice that Trump stood up for NY. He's that kind of guy. A good guy. But, when Biden said Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation he tee'd up a doozy for Trump and The Donald didn't swing for the fences. He let it slide. I was in total disbelief. I've never seen anything like that in a debate. Trump could have ended the whole thing right there.... I was glad to hear him say no to any more debates. He doesn't need to put himself in that situation anymore. He just needs go get out and talk policy, like he's doing. Maybe....Trump is really a sweet guy, not a killer. When Biden shoved his foot in his mouth with the claim that he was a "6 handicap" with his golf game Trump's response was very, very merciful. I think it said more about Trump than it did about the delusional Dem. My son and I are golfers and we absolutely roared at Trump's reaction to that. Just looked away an winced. Haha! Epic. Biden could have stood there and said, "I'm from the moon and my wife is a mermaid" at that point. Geez...things have gotten crazy lately...

Crazy for sure. But you're right about Trump. He truly cares for this country and its people. He can't hide that, we can't hide that, the only people who try to hide that is the Leftist Marxists and Communists. And they're doing a pretty bad job. Well, I'm not completely sure about that. There are certain segments of the American electorate that actually buy into the Trump is Hitler muckraking. And we all know who that segment is. They may not even understand that it is muckraking or even understand what muckraking actually is. They just buy into it because they've been told Trump is against feeding and sheltering and providing medical care for you.

I understand your point, Abaco, but I can't reconcile your title with what you wrote. I kept looking for liberal lunacy, and all I saw was liberal normalcy. But I do agree with your last point; regardless of who wins (no, I don't believe Trump has a snowball's chance in Hell of defeating the Democrat vote manufacturing machine) we will be deep in it post-election.

I didnt really watch the debates. They are a joke. What we want from a presidential candidate is information on how they would run the country- efficiently, engendering respect from foreign countries, keeping borders ssecure, and enabling good defense, and keeping the currency OK. The rest of the stuff is a bit off the mark.
