In email requesting funding, part of the message read:

”We are careening towards the financial ruin of our country. Yet instead of keeping their promises to pass single-subject appropriations bills and a balanced budget amendment, our leadership chose instead to work with Democrats on a stopgap spending bill and a secret backroom deal on Ukraine funding.”

Posting a link from politicians begging for money after they have stolen my production for most of my life? 👎
Repeating the same action and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.

You are throwing the few good congressional apples out with the multitude of rotten ones.

Name me any politicians besides these two who have the guts to vote against making Juneteenth, so-called Black Independence Day, a national holiday--among many other highly courageous actions where they've been in the extreme minority.

You're entitled to your express your opinion with your downvote, but my guess is you, in this particular case, don't know much about what you're downvoting.

I've personally given repeatedly to Matt Rosendale's campaigns as he's a Montanan. And if others feel so inclined, I feel they should have that privilege. I just made it a little easier for them if they want to make that choice.

I didn't actually down vote your post, but I have no respect for any in con-gress. They destroyed the country I love.

I understand where you're coming from but I'm not going there yet. I think I'm as much of a "Gulcher" as anyone here, but, like Rosendale, I'm not ready to completely throw in the towel and damn everyone and everything connected to US government.

Incidentally, I read that Rosendale goes to Catholic mass every day to pray for guidance about his approach to governance. As an atheist, I find that interesting as I never pray for anything—but I respect a person who does serious soul searching before attempting to wield legislative power.

I don’t know as much about Gaetz as I do about Rosendale, but I don’t believe there could be a world of difference between them. In my studied opinion, there is a world of difference between Rosendale and nearly all the others, a difference that makes him an exception to the rule that you so obviously endorse.
